On a Binge

So I'm on this writing binge. Drunk on words. Stumbling through a maze of papers and notebooks. Sorting out the good the bad and the ugly and trying to get a manuscript ready for submisssion. Now isn't that some WWF language? Yea baby! Let the games begin.
The newspapers are piling up. Some bottles have emptied. I've almost finished the Bukowski collection. I'm busy typing up new poems, old poems anything that hits me that might fit this first collection that I'm trying to get published. I even have the family reading through my selections and rating them like American Idol. I guess I have more of a desire to share this stuff than I ever realized.
The first couple days took more wine and were slow going at first, but today it's straight black gourmet coffee and a one hit and I'm off to the races. I'm getting the selections narrowed down but capturing whatever comes bubbling up at the same time.
